Get in touchWhich barcode do I need for a product?
Shops and marketplaces usually ask for EAN-13 (most countries) or UPC-A (USA and Canada). The numbers themselves come from GS1, the organisation that issues product codes; this tool draws the barcode for your number.
What is a check digit?
The last digit of an EAN, UPC, ISBN or ITF-14 number, calculated from the others so scanners can catch mistakes. Type the number without it and it is added; type it with one and it is checked.
How do I make a barcode for a book?
Choose ISBN and type the ISBN-10 or ISBN-13. An ISBN-10 is turned into the 978 ISBN-13 that goes on the back cover.
Can I make many barcodes at once?
Yes. Type up to 100 numbers, one per line, and download them as a ZIP of PNG or SVG files.
Is what I type uploaded?
No. The barcodes are drawn in your browser and nothing reaches our server.
