HOW IT WORKS

QR code scanner in three steps

  1. Add the picture

Choose, drop or paste a screenshot or photo with one or more QR codes. On a phone you can take a photo.

  2. See what it says

Each code shows what it is: a link (shown in full), a Wi-Fi network, a contact, an email, a phone number or text.

  3. Use it

Open the link, copy the Wi-Fi password, save the contact or copy the text. Nothing happens until you choose.

Get in touch
How do I scan a QR code from a screenshot?

Add the screenshot here (or paste it with Ctrl+V). The code is read straight away and its content is shown, ready to copy or open.

How do I get the Wi-Fi password from a QR code?

Add a picture of the Wi-Fi QR code. The network name, the password and the security type are shown, with a button to copy the password.

Is it safe to open the link?

Check it first: the full address is shown and the link only opens when you press Open. Links that are not secure (http) or that use unusual addresses are pointed out.

Why is no QR code found?

The whole code must be in the picture, sharp and not too small. Crop closer, use a sharper photo, or take it straight on rather than at an angle.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The codes are read in your browser and your images never reach our server.
