Choose Document, ID card, Book or Whiteboard and point the camera at the page. It is captured when steady and sharp; show the next page and it goes on. Or add photos you already have.

Drag a corner if needed, turn, reorder or retake a page, and pick a look: Clean, Whiteboard, Black & white, Grey or Original.
Save or share
Download one PDF or JPGs, under a size limit if a form asks. Make the text searchable, add a password, or share it straight to another app.

Get in touchHow do I scan a document without an app?
Open this page on your phone or computer and press Scan with camera. Allow the camera when asked, hold the page in view, and it is captured by itself when steady. Show the next page to keep going, then press Done and download one PDF.
How do I scan both sides of an ID card onto one page?
Choose ID card, scan the front, then the back. Both sides are placed at their real size on one A4 (or Letter) page, the way photocopies for forms are made.
Can I scan a book two pages at a time?
Yes. Choose Book and photograph the open spread. It becomes two separate pages, left and right, ready for one PDF.
How do I remove shadows and make coloured paper white?
Choose the Clean look. It measures the paper in each colour across the page and makes it evenly white, so shadows and pink, yellow or grey paper disappear while ink, stamps and photos keep their colour.
Can the scanned PDF be searched and copied?
Yes. Tick Searchable text (OCR) before downloading. The text is read in your browser, in any of 48 languages, and added invisibly over each page so it can be searched, selected and copied.
Can I make the scan smaller for an upload form?
Yes. Choose a file size such as Under 500 KB. The best quality that fits is kept, for the PDF or for each JPG.
Is the camera recording or uploading anything?
No. The camera picture is only looked at in your browser to find the page, and the photos and the PDF stay on your device. The camera turns off when you press Done.
