How do I remove a person or an object from a photo?

Paint over it with the brush until it is completely covered, including its shadow, then press Erase. The AI fills the area so it matches the background around it.

Is my photo uploaded?

Only a small part. Your photo stays in your browser; only a square around the area you painted is sent to our server to be filled in, and it is deleted straight away, never stored.

What if the result is not perfect?

Paint over the area again and erase once more; small, repeated erases often work best. Undo takes back any change, and Hold to compare shows the original.

Does it reduce the quality of my photo?

No. Only the painted area changes. The rest of the photo keeps its full resolution, and you can download it as JPG or PNG.

Which AI does it use?

LaMa, an open-source image inpainting model, running on our own servers.
