Get in touchWhat size should a profile picture be?
RMBG.me makes 1080 × 1080 pixels by default, which looks sharp on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. You can also choose 512 or 2048 pixels.
Why is the outside of the circle transparent?
The round PNG has a transparent outside, so it looks right on any page. Most apps crop profile pictures to a circle themselves, so a square picture works too.
Can I add a colourful ring like on Instagram?
Yes. Choose Gradient for a colourful ring, or Colour to pick any single colour.
Does it work with photos of pets or logos?
Yes. If no face is found, the subject is centred instead. Drag and zoom to adjust it.
